The Opportunity

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to become a core member of our new project. It’s a SaaS-based enterprise solution that integrates building systems into a single, centralized, digital platform. You will handle a significant part of the product development process, and build integrations between the client-platform and third party products. You will work closely with the clients, determine the product functionality, define the architecture, and estimate the overall work. When you join our ranks, you will work closely with world-class technology entrepreneurs from the world’s most prominent innovation hubs. These include Silicon Valley, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and many other countries that may require business trips.

Qualifications & experience:

  • 3+ years of working experience in software quality assurance (WEB and Mobile);
  • Understanding of SCRUM processes;
  • Understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and techniques;
  • Experience with requirements validation;
  • Experience in testing complex applications;
  • Understanding of the client-server architecture;
  • Hands-on experience in testing API via Postman;
  • Practical skills with GraphQL and SQL (Postgres in particular);
  • Experience with a version control system (Git);
  • Understanding of CI concepts, test environments schemes;
  • Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

Nice-to-haves:

  • A computer science degree or similar;
  • Experience in automation testing;
  • Experience with establishing test process, organizing test reporting, and presenting results to the customer;
  • Experience in delivery process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining the test and QA procedures on a project, assuring the product quality on a daily basis;
  • Creating and managing test documentation;
  • Driving exploratory and scripted testing processes;
  • Product requirements analysis and validation;
  • Being a part of the Agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate the effort;
  • Taking part in continuous process improvement;
  • Communication with the client on a regular basis.
