Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for you!

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a member of the DevOps team, yet mainly responsible for improving or setting up top-level OPS monitoring, logging, observability and alerting tools for a distributed fintech system. This role is an excellent opportunity to lead a vital requirement from the customer and ensure engineers are always aware of production and other environment metrics, get timely targeted alerts via relevant interfaces and ensure the team can act accordingly and instantly per any case.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!

Essential skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Software lifecycle management experience; (Git, GitLab CI, etc.);
• Advanced knowledge of AWS with experience in managing AWS services (RDS, S3, VPC, Transfer Family);
• Understanding of containerization (AWS EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.);
• Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, etc.)
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Open Telemetry, Grafana Loki, Prometheus Stack, etc.);
• Programming skills (bash, python, etc.);
• Highly Available and Disaster Recovery scenarios knowledg;
• Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing);
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience);
• Advanced spoken and written English skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• SRE practices knowledge;
• Experience with Azure / GCP.

What impact you’ll make

• Improving or setting up top-level OPS observability tools;
• Configure proper metrics collection and alerting for different types of environments;
• Doing typical DevOps tasks related to infrastructure management and CI/CD.
