We are looking for you!
We’re building a new kind of enterprise system - the one that doesn’t just automate workflows, but understands business intent and drives measurable business outcomes.
As an AI Engineer on this team, you’ll help design and build the agentic reasoning infrastructure behind this vision - systems that can interpret strategic “end games,” generate executable playbooks, and coordinate actions across real enterprise environments.
This is a hybrid role at the intersection of product engineering and applied AI research.
You’ll be contributing to a production-grade platform while also exploring the boundaries of autonomous agents, text-to-agent pipelines, and multi-agent collaboration frameworks.
Skills and experience you can bring to this role!
Qualifications & experience:
- You love writing Python code, 3+ years of experience in commercial development with a track record of AI-focused projects launched and proven in production environments;
- Experience using or developing with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, etc.);
- You have hands-on experience with context engineering, vector databases, RAG, and MLOps and you have applied the majority of the listed things to implement user-facing software;
- Hands-on exposure to agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Google ADK, CrewAI, Haystack, etc.) or planning systems;
- Comfortable reading, implementing, and adapting ideas from current AI/ML research papers - e.g., tool-use, hierarchical planning, cooperative agents;
- You are particularly interested in emerging AI tech, LLMs, and generative AI. You follow the news, new developments, and academic research. You are excited about its potential impact on product development in the upcoming years.
Nice to have:
- You are an active proponent and practitioner of agentic coding;
- You have experience in data engineering, particularly in building data pipelines;
- You have built ML solutions and used available services & tools and/or built bespoke ML models;
- You are interested in going beyond the technical side. You could work as a consultant, demonstrate an understanding of business and product aspects, and generate product ideas;
- You have front-end experience building UIs to demonstrate solutions end-to-end or are open to gaining such.
What impact you’ll make
- Design and implement multi-agent planning systems capable of decomposing high-level goals into executable workflows;
- Build the reasoning and orchestration engines that integrate LLMs, rule-based logic, and structured enterprise data;
- Prototype and productionize text-to-agent pipelines transforming natural language goals into agent teams and executable plans;
- Research and experiment with emergent agent behaviors, including coordination, role specialization, and collective decision-making (“agentic swarms”);
- Develop the Playbook module and runtime that translate strategic intent into safe, executable instructions;
- Build and evaluate LLM-driven tool-use frameworks for secure interaction with APIs, databases, and applications;
- Contribute to closed-loop learning systems where agents observe KPI feedback, adapt workflows, and self-improve.
What you’ll get
Regardless of your position or role, we have in place a wide array of benefits including flexible working (hybrid/remote models) and generous time off policies to make it easier for all people to thrive and succeed at Star. On top of that, we offer an extensive rewarding and compensation package, intellectually and creatively stimulating space and some more.
Your holistic wellbeing is central at Star. You'll join a warm and vibrant multinational environment filled with impactful projects, career development opportunities, mentorship and training programs, fun sports activities, workshops, networking and outdoor meet-ups.
