We are looking for a talented Manual QA Engineer to become a core member of our new projects. As a Manual QA Engineer at Star, you will handle a significant part of the project, work closely with the clients and be part of a team that creates useful, scalable products and solutions for real users. When you join our ranks, you will work closely with world-class technology entrepreneurs from the world’s most prominent innovation hubs. These include Silicon Valley, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and many other countries that may require business trips.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!
Qualifications & experience:
- 3+ years in manual software testing roles;
- Higher education (MS/BS degree or equivalent);
- Experience designing and executing functional, regression, and smoke tests;
- Understanding of automation concept: test structure, working with locators, handling dynamic elements, building automated scenarios, execution control, and result analysis;
- Familiar with Tosca or similar AI automation tools: test case modeling, execution, test data management;
- Familiarity with test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr);
- Experience testing responsive web applications and APIs, preferably .NET-based applications;
- Basic understanding of databases and tools (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio);
- Knowledge of Agile QA processes: backlog grooming, sprint planning, demo validation;
- Clear documentation and defect reporting using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
What impact you’ll make
You will conduct manual and exploratory testing across the UI and service layer. Use selected tool (e.g. Tosca) for model-based test automation planning and support validation against user stories and business rules. Day-to-day work would include:
- Supporting and improving existing test and QA processes on a project, while driving product quality on a daily basis;
- Planning, executing and reporting on test runs during the version and hotfix releases;
- Driving exploratory testing, writing test plans and test cases for the product;
- Product requirement analysis and processing;
- Testing application features and troubleshooting issues;
- Being a part of an Agile delivery team, working closely with various departments to coordinate efforts;
- Delivery process management;
- Communication with all stakeholders, including customer teams, on a daily basis;
- Taking part in continuous process improvement and giving process recommendations.
