We’re looking for a Payroll & Operations Accountant to serve as the reliable engine behind our 85-person crew. You will act as a trusted partner to our crew members, ensuring our payroll processing, banking operations, and tax reporting for our Diya City operations run like clockwork. If you combine technical accounting expertise with the ability to communicate clearly across teams, we’d love to have you join us.
What impact you will make
- Payroll Processing: Calculating salaries (base pay, vacation pay, sick leave, bonuses), calculating taxes and fees. (85 employees, Smart Payroll (Microsoft)
- Reporting: Preparation and submission of reports (Unified Tax Return, Form No. 3- Debt, Form No. 1-PV, etc.).
- Maintenance of management accounting for payroll accruals by metrics (metrics configured in the accounting system)
- Communication with employees regarding payroll calculation and payment issues, preparation of income statements upon request, etc.
- Banking operations: Preparation of payments and monitoring of payroll disbursements. Working in the Client-Bank system, processing payments, posting statements in the accounting software. Payroll project at the bank.
- Source documentation: Verifying the availability, checking the correctness of completion, and registering incoming acts and invoices. (30–40 documents per month. The company is a Diya City resident, a general taxpayer, and not a VAT payer).
Skills and experience you can bring to this role!
Work Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role (at a company with 50 or more employees).
Education: Relevant degree (Accounting, Auditing, Finance).
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in Navision and Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred, but the company will provide training) and M.E.Doc.
- Experience working with various Client-Bank systems.
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP will be a plus).
Knowledge of legislation: Tax Code of Ukraine, Labor Code, and current accounting standards.
English (Intermediate): Ability to conduct business correspondence fluently and understand financial terminology.
High level of responsibility and attention to detail
Ability to work with large volumes of information.
Communication skills (for interacting with counterparties and employees regarding
payments).
