The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially driven and network-savvy leader to spearhead our growth in Denmark and the broader Nordic region. As a Commercial Leader, reporting to Global Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences,  you will be responsible for expanding our client base, developing new revenue streams, and nurturing high-value relationships in the HealthCare primarily. 

This is an individual contributor role, where you will take ownership of the entire sales cycle, supported by a team of subject matter experts. You will leverage your network, consulting experience, and strategic mindset to position our Star as a trusted partner for established enterprises and emerging startups.

Responsibilities 

  • Drive business growth across Denmark and the Nordics by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones.
  • Develop and execute on a Go-to-market plan that aligns with company objectives.
  • Leverage your existing network to generate leads and establish meaningful client engagements.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and opportunity development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts to deliver compelling, tailored solutions for clients.
  • Sell services, particularly within HealthTech and adjacent industries.
  • Contribute to Star's thought leadership efforts by leveraging your knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and conferences to expand our market presence.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by ensuring seamless delivery and continuous engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performance commercial team in the region.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting companies with a focus on sales, business development, and client engagement.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Strong network within the HealthTech industry (Pharma, Medical devices, Therapeutic Device OEMs, Laboratory Diagnostics OEMs, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Units) with the ability to engage C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Experience in digital products and solutions sales or selling software-related services (Web, Mobile, Cloud, Embedded) and solutions.
  • A strategic, consultative approach to selling, with the ability to identify client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating with technical and design experts to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.

Nice to have:

  • FinTech industry experience or exposure to financial services technology solutions.
  • Experience working with early-stage startups and corporate innovation teams.
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and agile software development processes.
