Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for you!

As a Senior DevOps engineer, you will join a development team, yet mainly responsible for improving or setting up top-level DevOps processes such as build, deploy, and infrastructure management on a fastly-growing project. This role is an excellent opportunity to lead a vital requirement from the customer and ensure that the process of application development and infrastructure management is standardized, automated, and complies with the best practices.

Contract type: Gig contract.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!

Essential skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Software lifecycle management experience (Git, GitLab CI, GitHub etc.);
• Familiar with containerization (AWS ECS, AWS EKS, Docker, etc.);
• Advanced knowledge of AWS with experience in managing AWS services (RDS Postgreql, Aurora, S3, VPC, EC2, Lambda);
• Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, OpeTofu etc.);
• Advanced knowledge in building CI/CD for Python applications;
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Open Telemetry, Grafana Loki, Prometheus Stack, etc.).
• Programming skills (bash, Python etc.);
• Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing);
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience);
• Advanced spoken and written English skills.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with migrating monolith applications from AWS EC2 instances to containerized/serverless AWS services.;
• Highly Available and Disaster Recovery scenarios knowledge;
• Managing infrastructure for IoT services.

What impact you’ll make

• Migration of existing monolithic solution to scalable AWS services.
• Improving or setting up top-level DevOps tools;
