Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for you!

As a Senior DevOps engineer, you will be a member of the development team on a regulated project running production workload, yet mainly responsible for setting up automated infrastructure provisioning, software development and delivery cycle, OPS monitoring, logging, observability and alerting tools. This role is an excellent opportunity to lead a vital requirement from the project stakeholders and ensure that environments and tools are secure and operational.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role! 

Essential skills:

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Continuous Integration/Delivery (GitLiab CI, Jenkins etc.);
• Advanced knowledge of AWS public cloud with experience in managing services (VPC, EC2, IAM, Auto Scaling groups, RDS, CloudFront, WAF, OpenSearch, Backup etc.);
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS;
• Proficient in Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, CloudFormation);
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana etc.);
• Log analytics (ELK/EFK stack, Grafana Loki etc.);
• Programming skills (bash, python, etc.);
• Networking expert (switching, routing, load balancing);
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience);

• Advanced spoken and written English skills.

Bonus skills:

• Highly Available and Disaster Recovery scenarios knowledge;
• Experience with regulated projects and security audits;
• Experience with Azure / GCP.

What impact you’ll make 

• Planning and managing aspects of the configuration management process;
• Preparing scripts and automation for infrastructure, tools, and environments;
• Documenting installation, deployment, and operations activities for the Product Team;
• Definition and implementation of product build, identification, storage and delivery procedures;
• Keeping environments and tools secure and operational;
• Execution of Access Management Process on the project infrastructure;
• Implementing Release Management Process in continuous integration system;
• Maintaining products in production environments; 
• Providing regular deployment of the verified version to the production environment;
• Responding to events, incidents and threats.
