Senior .Net Engineer

We are looking for a .NET Engineer to join the project for a leading fintech and a principal member of Mastercard. In particular, the focus will be on a new module of our system - a modern card issuing and payments platform that enables fintechs and enterprises to launch and scale card programs globally.

This system module can be described as a modular, API-driven issuing platform that serves as a central hub for managing card programs, processing transactions, and integrating with global payment networks such as Mastercard.

Our team is building a scalable, real-time financial infrastructure, driven by a small and highly active sub-group focused on solving complex challenges around transaction processing, performance, and reliability, evolving the platform’s core capabilities, and delivering robust solutions that power fintech products worldwide.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role! 

Qualifications & experience:

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on backend systems,
• Strong proficiency in .NET and its ecosystem to build robust, scalable financial infrastructure,
• Self-organized with a sense of product ownership, taking full accountability for the features you build,
• Expertise in relational databases (Postgres, MySQL), 
• Deep understanding of security best practices,
• Not afraid to step beyond .NET to improve observability (Grafana/tooling), fix Java e2e tests, or troubleshoot infrastructure issues within the Kubernetes environment.
• Proficient in using AI agents to navigate large codebases, speed up troubleshooting, and deliver new features efficiently,
• Upper-intermediate to Advanced English skills.
  

What impact will you make:

As a .NET Engineer, you will be working in a distributed team with colleagues located worldwide. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of new features,
• Bug fixing and troubleshooting,
• Work with and drive the engineering team to iterate on technical architecture,
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to take solutions from concept to delivery.
