Senior Vue.js Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in React and Vue.js to join our team. You’ll work on a transformative IoT platform that monitors and manages commercial refrigeration systems for one of the world’s leading manufacturing companies.

The platform is undergoing critical technical enhancements, including adding multi-language support for global expansion. You’ll help build modern, high-performance web applications that are part of this large-scale, impactful modernization and ensure a seamless user experience across the platform.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!

Qualifications & experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer, preferably in web or enterprise projects.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with React and/or Vue.js frameworks, including state management (Redux, Vuex) and component-based architecture.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Next.js, Nuxt.js, Remix.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js.
• Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets and/or WebRTC.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility challenges.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile development environments.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications (lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, etc.).
• Proven experience writing unit and integration tests for components using tools like Jest, Cypress, or Vue Test Utils.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

What impact you’ll make

• Collaborate with product and design teams to bring visual designs to life in functional web pages and user interfaces using React and Vue.js.
• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications for a global-scale IoT platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following front-end best practices.
• Engage in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and trends, especially in the React/Vue ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration with APIs and server-side components.
• Contribute to the modernization of the platform, including performance optimization, architectural improvements, and supporting global expansion features.
