Overview
The start-up team behind Waggit aimed to make a game-changing product. The first all-in-one smart wearable dog collar that gives dog owners early visibility and actionable insights into their dogs’ well-being.

The idea
Vibrissa came to Star for help in delivering a turnkey, market-ready product. Our customer needed a product development and engineering partner who could take them through the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to design process, and from POC prototyping to the finished product.
Project
Working collaboratively with our partner, we designed and developed a smart dog collar engineering prototype that delivers multiple monitoring capabilities, including health, activity and safety information. This intelligent animal wearable has a combined fitness tracker with GPS, and tracks its battery life. The Waggit collar learns the dog’s baseline, tracks actionable insights from trend data, and communicates relevant alerts to the dog owner.
